Phenomenal experience all around. It took me 20 minutes just to decide what to get because there were so many amazing-sounding options, and everything is made fresh to order. The owner was absolutely awesome and clearly takes a ton of pride in his craft, which really shows in the food. My only disappointment was that the tiramisu was already sold out. Wish we had a place like this in Denver!

I have discovered my new favorite sandwich shop in Norfolk. I ordered the Caterina, which was an out-of-body experience. The prosciutto was perfectly sliced and seasoned, the fontina was creamy and delicious, the focaccia had a perfect blend of crunch and softness, and the veggies were fresh and flavorful. Additionally, the service was pleasant, prompt, and professional. This is a must visit for any foodie in the area, or any lover of a good sandwich. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

If I could give Chef Gabriel and his wife more than five stars, I would. From the moment we walked in, we felt like welcomed guests rather than customers. They have created the kind of cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to slow down, relax, and savor every bite. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with authentic flavor. The hardest part wasn't deciding whether to come back—it was deciding what to order because the menu makes you want to try one of everything! Chef Gabriel's passion for his craft shines through in every bite, and his wife's warmth and hospitality make the entire experience unforgettable. It's rare to find a place where incredible food and genuine kindness come together so perfectly. This is the kind of restaurant you'll find yourself thinking about long after you leave. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu. Highly, highly recommended! ❤️🍝🇮🇹

In town for a college bowling tournament, my daughter found this place by googling. Although a very small location, the food was excellent! My daughter loved her fugetabutit and I enjoyed my fiamme. We tried each other sandwich, we both agreed both sandwiches were excellent. I ended up getting a fugetabutit to go 😍, love the jelly, see 2 pics with a little bit sliding off the side. Be prepared to get takeout because seating was very limited, and the wait was 20-40 minutes for a table.

Our visit here was one of the best most authentic dining experiences ever. From the customer service given by the Sweet couple that owns the restaurant to the delicious savory food and atmosphere,… it was amazing! We called ahead to reserve seating for a birthday party and they accommodated. When we arrived and were seated, they served the most delicious bruschetta. Every single dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, but most of all it was comforting SOUL FOOD. The owners are so personable and friendly. The birthday girl stated it was the best seafood soup she’s ever had. The focaccia bread is the best I’ve ever tasted. This is not a stuffy restaurant at all. It’s a place where you can taste in the food that someone cares and put lots of love and intentionality into the dishes. The next day, we were all saying, we wish we had taken an extra Focaccia to go. That’s How delicious it is. I have frequented a lot of Italian restaurants in this area over the past three decades and this is by far the best I’ve ever tasted! Thank you, Mr. Gabriella and your beautiful wife.
